Some of duties and responsibilities of the Banquet Bartender position include:
Set up bar according to BEO specifications. When in doubt, ID for age, and follow TIPS or TABC training on consumption awareness. Follow cash bar and host bar procedures for tracking consumption, charges etc. Do side work for bar as assigned per shift including stocking of supplies. Previous bartending experience in a full-service lounge or banquet facility. Professionally interact with a broad cross-section of guests. Willing to follow portion pour procedures for all beverages served. Point of sale and cash handling experience in beverage operations. There are some minimum requirements to being a Banquet Bartender that include: Have valid TIPS or TABC certification. Must be of legal age to pour, mix, and serve alcoholic beverages in the State in which the hotel does business.
